C200K Mk.5 SPARK TESTER

The C200K Mk.5 Spark Tester provides a quick and effective method of inspection on thicker coatings and linings. Coating thicknesses of between 3 and 30mm can be tested. It is used extensively for testing butt-welded and overlap joints mainly within the plastics and rubber industries but also in the petro-chemical and pipeline construction fields. It has also found usage in locating Tie Wires in concrete. Insulated extension rods, electrodes and accessories are available for specific applications.
However, to ensure stability of the output voltage, large electrodes should not be used. The maximum recommended size is 150mm for all High Frequency equipment. A specially created Accessories Kit is available which includes a robust transit case and a selection of electrodes suitable for use with the C200K Spark Tester.
