J221 UV Light Meter

The J-Series UV Meters are photovoltaic devices for accurate and repeatable readings of UV light sources.
- J-225 Meter measures the intensity of shortwave UV (254nm). Sensor is sensitive within a range from 220 to 280nm with a maximum sensitivity of 254 nm.
- J-221 Meter measures the intensity of longwave UV (365nm). The longwave sensor is sensitive from 300 to 400 nm with a peak sensitivity at 365nm.
Each unit features two scales for low and high intensity readings. For remote readings, a four foot (1.2m) cord connects the sensor to the meter. An infrared filter assures accurate readings when measuring light sources producing infrared radiation. Calibration of the Meters is certified to meet UVP's published standards and is traceable to NIST*. Recalibration is recommended every six months at the UVP factory. Each meter comes with a sensor, attenuation screen and filter.
* In UK or other European facilities, traceability to National Physical Laboratory (NPL) is available.
